GE IS200VGENH1B Mark VI Generator Monitor and Trip Board

IS200VGENH1B works with TGEN to monitor generator three-phase voltage and current. It processes generator and bus PT signals, generator CT signals and four analog inputs to calculate three-phase power, power factor and frequency.

IS200VGENH1B monitors two three-phase PT inputs and three single-phase CT inputs through TGEN. GE specifies nominal 115 Vrms PT signals and a normal generator CT current range of zero to five amperes continuous.

IS200VGENH1B processes four analog inputs selected by jumpers on TGEN for 4–20 mA or ±5/±10 Vdc signals. Each circuit must be configured for the actual transmitter signal and corresponding terminal-board jumper position.

IS200VGENH1B provides power load unbalance and early valve actuation functions for large steam turbines using fast-acting solenoids on an optional TRLY terminal board. TGEN connects through rack J3, and the TRLY path uses rack J4.

IS200VGENH1B uses three-wire open-delta PT measurements for generator monitoring and calculations. GE states that these PT inputs are not used for automatic synchronizing, which requires two separate single-phase PT inputs.

IS200VGENH1B is the VGEN H1B hardware-form reference. GE part-number conventions distinguish functional, PWA and PWB versions; match the full replacement reference, installed TGEN/TRLY arrangement and configured simplex or TMR application before substitution.
