The GE Fanuc IC5002TAW1000 is a 12-inch industrial panel computer supplied as a CIMPLICITY Machine Edition development and runtime station. Its catalog configuration includes a 750 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM, a 13 GB hard drive, Microsoft Windows 2000, a floppy drive and a read-only CD-ROM. Unlike an unbundled IC5002 station, the IC5002TAW1000 was supplied with CIMPLICITY Machine Edition View and Logic development and runtime functionality for applications with up to 8000 I/O points. This allowed engineering work and runtime operation to be performed on the same industrial computer. The IC5002 platform uses a 12.1-inch TFT resistive touchscreen with 800 × 600 SVGA resolution.
