The 990 Vibration Transmitter is a loop-powered, two-wire device designed for OEMs to integrate a simple 4-20 mA vibration signal into machinery control systems for centrifugal compressors, pumps, and fans. It features an integrated 3300 NSv Proximitor, offers a diagnostic PROX OUT signal, and includes non-interacting zero/span adjustments for easy calibration in the field.

System Length Option (B): XX (Needs specification; typically 50 for 5.0 meters or 70 for 7.0 meters)
Mounting Option (C): 01 (35 mm DIN rail clips)
Agency Approval Option (D): 05 (CSA Division 2, ATEX Zone 0, ATEX Zone 2, ABS Maritime)
Input: Accepts one 3300 NSv Proximity Probe and matching Extension Cable.
Power Supply: +12 to +35 Vdc.
Output Signal: 4 to 20 mA dc (2-wire loop).
Loop Accuracy: ±1.5% of full-scale range (additional to Proximitor output error).
Maximum Loop Resistance: 1000 Ω (including cable) at 35 Vdc.
Probe Gap Requirement: 0.5 to 1.75 mm (20 to 55 mils) from target.
Proximitor Output Incremental Scale Factor: 7.87 mV/µm (200 mV/mil) ±6.5% typical (±10% worst case).
Frequency Response: 5 Hz to 6,000 Hz (+0, -3 dB).
Minimum Target Size: 9.5 mm (0.375 in) diameter.
Transmitter Operating Temperature: -35°C to +85°C (-31°F to +185°F).
Transmitter Storage Temperature: -52°C to +100°C (-62°F to +212°F).
Probe Operating Temperature: -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +351°F).
