Der PLC 1756-CNBR, oder ControlNet Bridge Redundancy, ist ein Schnittstellenmodul, das für die Kommunikation innerhalb eines ControlNet-Netzwerks verwendet wird. Es ist dasselbe wie das 1756-CNB, aber der größte Unterschied besteht darin, dass das 1756-CNBR einen zusätzlichen ControlNet-Anschluss hat, der redundante Medien unterstützt. Dieses Modul hat 2 ControlNet-BNC-Ports, während das 1756-CNB nur einen hat, obwohl beide 1 ControlNet-RJ45-Port haben.

Wie das nicht-redundante Modul, das 1756-CNBR steuert auch geplante Daten in Verbindung mit der Logix5550-Steuerung und überbrückt nicht geplante Daten zwischen der ControlLogix-Backplane und dem ControlNet-Netzwerk.
Um einen Kommunikationsverlust zu verhindern, wenn eine Abzweigung oder Hauptleitung getrennt wird, kann ein redundantes ControlNet-Medium verwendet werden. Für diese Verbindung können Sie nur das Modul 1756-CNBR verwenden.
